Georgia Carnival: Edition 43
Welcome to the Georgia Blog Carnival!
Please excuse the abruptness and general nature of this carnival. I have been in the hospital since last Friday due to emergency abdominal surgery. Today is the first day I have been mentally clear enough to even post anything, however mistake may abound.
Because of my situation I have simply posted the link information the Blog Carnival site has provided. Hopefully I will be up to speed by the next carnival posting date.
The next carnival will be hosted here at Georgia on My Mind on Friday, September 12h . Submissions will be due Thursday, September 11th.
If you maintain a Georgia blog and would like to host the carnival at your site e-mail me to set up a date. It’s a great way to put your own personal spin on the carnival.
The last edition of the Georgia carnival can be found here, and the carnival archives are found here.
Now… on to the highlights of Georgia blogging during the past two weeks.

Sorry to hear about the emergency surgery and hope you are on the road to recovery. Mercy, you are dedicated. Take it easy.
I too admire your dedication! I'll pray for your rapid recovery. God bless and thanks for all you do for Georgia bloggers!
I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of your emergency. I wish you the speediest recovery.
Hope you recover quickly! It's good of you to spend so much time doing this for all of us bloggers.
I am so sorry to hear about your surgery. You are a trooper to post the carnival since you have not been feeling well. I hope you feel 100% soon.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm not so sure if it is as much of me being a trooper, a dedicated blogger, or just the fact that I'm rabidly addicted to the blogging process. :)
I mean who in their right mind has a laptop in the hospital bed with her in hopes she might feel like logging on?!? I'm crazy......
I'm home as of last night and the long recovery process has begun. Now, I will have no excuse for not getting the catetgories finished with the blogroll and other upgrades that should be done here at Georgia on My Mind. Plus I'll be able to make some visits around the Georgia Blogosphere as well.:)
*SO* sorry to hear about all you went through! Read about your nightmare on your history blog. No one should *ever* have to go through what you did, but, unfortunately, insurance companies all seem to think they own us and can dictate all the rules.
Be sure to take all the time you need to get your strength back, and *thanks* for all you do for Georgia bloggers. This blogger greatly appreciates it!
Thank you very much Masterworks. I really appreciate your comment. :)
